Hello and welcome to Atlas Steakhouse
We are a Mediterranean-style steakhouse located on 943 Coney Island Avenue in the Ditmas Park neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY. Opening our doors in the summer of 2015, we aim to bring an authentic and upscale, New York City steakhouse to Ditmas Park at affordable prices.

Beautiful place, excellent service. Feels like it tries a little too hard. What I mean is: The tables are a bit too large, so placement is problematic (i.e.: our table was in a corner by a wine display. There was a pillar that forced servers to either squeeze by, or risk disturbing diners on the other side of the pillar.) Chairs were large, and comfortable (even for my fat butt!) They did, however, add to the traffic issues. I ordered a T-bone, medium rare, and "Pittsburghed" for a good sear. It was tasty, but tougher than I expected for the cut. (It was supposed to be prime, but definitely did not have the marbling that should have rendered it much more tender, and even tastier.) Sides were very good, the mashed potatoes unremarkable. (If you can do asparagus as well as they did for my girlfriend, you can make really tasty mashed potatoes, especially for the price.) There was an event going on while we were there - lots of pretty people in beautiful clothes. We felt under-dressed, but it provided entertainment. I would still recommend this place, because other than my steak and the mashed potatoes, everything was very good, and a lovely experience overall.

Barb BSadly I was living in the moment and didn’t get to take pictures of the location and the food but I could say that everything was wonderful here. I went for Valentine’s Day which had a preset menu. Place was decorated really nice and they even had a guy singing. The food was amazing. The crab cake appetizer was good but the grilled shrimp appetizer was soooo tasty. The salmon steak was cooked perfectly and I think I had the best mushroom creamed spinach I’ve ever tried here. Down to the berry cake was good. Overall I had an amazing time and would recommend this location for a nice outing.
TyAtlas is delicious, I often order delivery from here. It’s also one of my go-to spots when I have a friend or relative in town for our final meal together. It’s set up as fine dining but definitely not, pretentious. As long as you’re not too dressed down (athletic clothes), you’ll be good to go here. They are obviously known for their steak and it’s always amazing. If you order the steak, just know you’ll need get sides separately, but it’s worth every penny. Other entree options are served as a full meal. Oh! And if you’re going to have a drink, go for the lychee martini, it never misses.
Sydney FordWhile visiting the area, we decided to dine at Atlas Steakhouse for a date night. The dining room was absolutely beautiful with decorative flowers and shimmering light fixtures around us. My fiancé’s Old Fashioned was to his liking, and our appetizers of the crab cake and Caesar salad were very good. We also enjoyed the bread with the herb butter that they brought over. While ordering our steaks, we were very surprised to see that they didn’t have sauce options available, like a bernaise for example. When the servers brought our steaks over, we were shocked that they brought a bottle of A1 and a bottle of Jack Daniel’s BBQ sauce as well. We didn’t think we would need it, but I did in fact end up using the A1 with my filet mignon as I felt it needed some additional flavor. Temperature-wise, everything was cooked to our liking. The sautéed spinach on the side was good. We shared a lava cake for dessert, but felt it could’ve been warmed up a bit longer and there was barely any “chocolate lava”. Overall, a nice atmosphere with very professional staff.
Food of CTThe porterhouse steak is in my opinion spectacular alone. If you want to take it even beyond your taste bud add a bit of truffle butter to it and you will not be able to finish the steak.
Herns&Michelle Pierre-LouisTalk about a study in redirection - the place I originally was planning to go to was closed, but I'd been eyeing this place anyway, so why not! I made it in time for happy hour, but ordered off the regular menu anyway and got an order off the happy hour menu as take out. I came on a week night so it was easy to walk-in. Servers were helpful and I never felt rushed. Food was pretty good, and I enjoyed some wine. I'll likely return 🙂

We accept reservations 2 days in advance for parties of 10 or more. Reservations can be made during normal business hours.
“Atlas Steakhouse” is open Monday through Sunday. For groups (of 4 or more), reservations are required. Weekends, reservations are required.
Weekdays, reservations are not needed.
